Recruitment Coordinator

Jagex Ltd, the UK’s leading independent online games studio, is looking for an exceptional and passionate Recruitment Coordinator to join our busy HR team.

As Recruitment Coordinator, you will be responsible for utilising the full spectrum of future talent attraction methods such as course leader referrals, social and business networks, headhunting, and university event attendance to ensure our ambitious company recruitment strategy is delivered to the highest standard.

Key Duties Include:

  • Responsible for recruiting entry level roles across the business
  • Liaising with selected UK universities to support our graduate, placement and intern programs
  • Developing targeted sourcing plans for specific positions in support of the recruitment team
  • Acting as the main Jagex representative for all university and college contacts and campus outreach initiatives
  • Planning and delivering exciting graduate events, competitions and relevant recruitment campaigns to ensure Jagex is regarded as an employer of choice within the graduate market
  • Working closely with hiring managers across the business to define and build graduate and placement recruitment strategies
  • Cultivate strong relationships with junior candidates and staff who are deemed top talent
  • Establishing processes and metrics to track and evaluate the success of campaigns, courses and candidates
  • Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative graduate and placement recruitment strategies utilizing the full spectrum of talent attraction methods
  • Focus on quality, timely delivery of service and effective cost control in terms of cost per hire
  • Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous recruitment experience in a fast moving, hi-tech organization
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability and confidence to adapt communication style to different audiences
  • Degree or equivalent experience with a good understanding of academic institutions
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in the face of changing priorities whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of social media and social networking tools
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities and deliver to deadlines
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Proven experience handling confidential information with discretion and integrity

Desirable Requirements:

  • Practical knowledge of Boolean logic
  • Passion for computer games and an awareness of the games industry
  • Technical background / education with an interest in maths, technology and physics based subjects
