HR Administrator

Jagex Ltd, the UK’s leading independent Online Games Studio, is looking for a self-driven individual who is well organised and comfortable with multiple priorities to join their HR team. The role’s primary focus is ensuring the HR team is fully supported with a clear commitment to getting the job done.  You will provide administrative support across a range of HR activities and will be the first point of contact for all employee matters.

As part of the HR team you will be responsible for dealing with a variety of HR admin tasks relating to Employee Relations, Recruitment, Learning & Development or Payroll, plus other project work to help improve the service that the HR team delivers.

Key Duties Include: 

  • Providing confidential, accurate and timely HR Administrative support, including supporting the HRS administrator
  • Being the first point of contact for the HR Team, including managing the general HR mailbox.
  • Processing the admin for new starters, leavers and internal job changes
  • Drafting offer letters & contracts and tracking the return of contractual documentation
  • Dealing with references and security checks
  • Providing administrative support for the new starter and company induction process
  • Overseeing and issuing the company voucher schemes
  • Managing the electronic and paper-based employee files
  • Providing administrative support for the disciplinary and grievance process
  • Supporting the internal promotion & awareness of employee benefits
Essential Requirements:
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (mainly Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Proven experience of handling confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Admin experience in a busy and agile office environment
Desirable Requirements:
  • HR Experience
  • Previous experience of HR Databases
  • Basic knowledge of employment law
  • Relevant HR Qualifications (CPP qualified)
