Director of Performance Marketing
World leading independent Online Games Studio, Jagex Ltd, is looking for an exceptional Performance Marketing Director to join their in-house Marketing team and take a leading role in driving performance marketing at Jagex, delivering significant added value to the business.
Key Duties Include:
- Drive and own all performance-marketing activities, including: paid search, keyword research, campaign management, landing page strategy, ad-group optimisation for reach and conversion to CPA and PPC targets
- Set-up acquisition, conversion and retention targets and take responsibility for their successful achievement
- Focus on the ROI of all marketing activities and have the creative ability to constantly improve performances
- Work with the product and tech teams to initiate and manage cost-effective acquisition campaigns
- Monitor and report on performance marketing effectiveness and user activity, and act upon this intelligence
- Keep up to date with the latest trends, opportunities and learning in online marketing and share with the team where useful
Essential Requirements:
- Previous ROI driven experience in a highly competitive transactional e-Commerce sector is an absolute must
- A proven track record of delivering a significant increase in traffic and sales through paid search engine marketing, and other performance marketing techniques
- Solid experience in setting up and deriving insight from tracking systems such Google Adwords,Dou ble-click and other digital marketing tools
- Ideally previous experience working on service based entertainment products
- Comfortable with, and excited by, the prospect of driving huge user growth as economically and cost effectively as possible
- Good business acumen, strong commercial awareness and data driven
- Committed, enthusiastic and willing to be part of a fun hard-working team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to details, autonomous
- Detail-oriented, metric and results driven, with very strong analytical skills
- First rate project and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadline while coping with the requirements of a fast moving environment
Location:
This role can be based out of either our Cambridge HQ or London office with occasional travel to the Cambridge HQ.
