Create an Account: to play, use or access the FSW Game you will need to create a new Account. You will need to create a new Account even if you have an existing RuneScape Account.

Eligibility: by downloading or accessing the FSW Game in any way or creating an Account, you confirm that you are aged 18 years or above and have read and accept these FSW Rules, or if you are aged between 13 and 18, your parent or legal guardian has read and accepted the terms of these FSW Rules. We may immediately terminate your Account and stop your access to the FSW Game if we are not satisfied that such acceptance by the parent or legal guardian has been given. You and your parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must review these FSW Rules together. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for the acts of children under 18 years of age when using the FSW Game.

Transfers between Accounts: your FSW Game Account is a stand-alone Account. Any form of transfers between Accounts, including transfers of Virtual Currencies, rewards, balances, micro-game credits and virtual items to other Accounts is expressly prohibited until you migrate your FSW Game Account back to the main RuneScape game. This will happen automatically at the end of the FSW Game season (see below) or you can migrate your Account at any point prior to that should you wish to.

IMPORTANT: please note that once you migrate your FSW Game Account to the main RuneScape game, you will not be able to return to the FSW Game unless you create a new FSW Game Account.

Membership: to access and play the FSW Game you need to pay a membership fee. This membership fee can be purchased, via Jagex' standard subscription purchase methods, on a one, six or twelve month recurring basis. A new membership fee is payable for each Account you use to play the FSW Game. The provisions of Section 12 of the Terms and Conditions will apply to your payment of membership fees.

The FSW Game, as the name suggests, offers you the opportunity to make a ‘fresh start’ in RuneScape and play a seasonal server mode on distinct new worlds. Everyone starts from level 1 with a clean slate.

Season period: from 12 noon (UTC) September 26th 2022 to 12 noon (UTC) January 9th 2023.

Season phases: the FSW Game is split into two distinct phases:

Phase 1: Competitive – this phase runs for a fixed period of 8 weeks from launch. During this phase, you will have the opportunity to compete against other players in the FSW Game, to maximise your FSW Game progression, build up your levels and set fresh hi-scores, gaining rewards for competition, participation and personal milestones. Players will not be able to use Treasure Hunter keys during this phase.

Phase 2: Accomplishment – this is the non-competitive phase and runs for an additional 2 months until the end of the FSW Game Season. During this phase you can continue to play at your own pace, benefit from accelerated XP progression and complete any remaining tasks to unlock rewards (see below). Treasure Hunter keys can be used as normal during this phase.

Please note that some rewards have trading restrictions in the main RuneScape game – for further information please refer to the newspost article available here.

Phase 1: Competitive – players will receive experience points (XP) at an accelerated rate throughout this phase. Starting at 50% additional XP, the multiplier will increase periodically by an amount set by the developers and announced in-game or via newspost on our website. Players joining the FSW Game after week 2 will also receive a catch-up bonus multiplier to XP gained in any skills below level 70. All players will also receive periodic unlocks of auras usually accessed via loyalty points.

For a full list of other progression bonuses unlocked during Phase 1 please see the newspost article here.

Phase 2: Accomplishment – XP multipliers and catch-up XP boosts will slowly decrease week on week throughout the second phase so players may choose to take advantage of this feature while completing any remaining tasks and reward unlocks before migrating back to the main RuneScape game (see above).

You will receive a variety of rewards for participating and completing tasks at different stages of the FSW Game: • Luma Wolf Pet – unlocked for free via the in-game rewards shop. • Challenger Armour and Lance – available via the in-game rewards shop by earning points. from playing the FSW Game. • Challenger Halo – unlocked through in-game achievement and hi-score rankings. • Halo of Returning – unlocked by completing tasks in the FSW Game. • Inverted Skill Capes – earned by achieving level 99/120 in a particular skill. • Halo Pet Skin – earned as a rare drop while training particular skills.

For more details about the individual rewards and how to unlock them please refer to the newspost article.
