Jagex releases a dev diary taking a deep dive into what players past and present can expect of the faster-paced game-mode, when it returns for a limited time on 15th April. 

Tuesday, 7th April 2026, Cambridge, UK - Jagex: The RuneScape Company has today released a developer diary evocating the details behind Leagues VI, the newest instalment of Old School RuneScape’s popular limited-time game mode, which begins 15th April. 

Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts is the latest instalment of the fast-paced game-mode that has appeared in the retro MMORPG. Hosted on separate worlds to the main game where everybody begins with a brand-new character, Leagues VI features boosted XP rates, new mechanics, an all-new ‘demonic pacts’ skill tree that allows players to master and specialise in different combat styles. It also sees the return of unique drops from the mode’s popular ‘Echo Bosses’. 

Old School RuneScape is available now on PC, Steam, iOS, and Android, complete with cross-platform progression and play on PC and mobile.
