Here at Jagex, we do our very best to keep your information safe and private and will only use your information when the law allows us to. Privacy rules can be complicated, so we have tried to simplify things for you below to help you to understand what information we collect about you, how and why we use it and your rights relating to your information. What information we collect about you

When and how do we collect your information?

We get your information from you. We do this when:

you create an account to play one of our games;
you get in touch with us by email or via our website (e.g. if you need help with one of our games);
you enter one of our competitions or ask to receive one of our newsletters; or
you follow us on social media, message us or comment on our posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

Why do we use your information?

We use the information about you:

to provide you with an account and let you play our games or purchase products from us;
to keep records of who is playing our games and any payments made to us;
to send you information about our games;
if you take part in a competition;
to help us manage and improve our business (e.g. to make our games better for you);
to fix any problems that you might have playing our games; or
to make sure that our games are safe.
